March 20th, 2008. Shanghai campus -- Dr. Che-woo Lui, Chairman of K. Wah Group today pledged support for CEIBS' Beijing campus construction and school's future development.

Dr. Liu gave this statement of support during a visit to the Shanghai campus in which he was hosted by CEIBS President Zhu Xiaoming and Vice President and Co-dean Zhang Weijiong.

Dr. Lui Che-Woo is a distinguished entrepreneur and renowned philanthropist. He is Chairman of the K. Wah Group, which includes K. Wah International Holdings and Galaxy Entertainment Group. The group is recognized for making remarkable contributions to the development of the local economy and Dr Lui himself is recognized as a staunch supporter of education and community services. In 1995, in honor of his outstanding achievements and contributions, the International Astroid/Comet Naming Committee named an asteroid as the "Lui Che Woo Star."
