March 14, 2008 - CEIBS is now accepting applications for the EU-China BMT Scholarship which, from 2008 to 2012, will provide 12 MBA scholarships a year -- six full and six partial -- for applicants from China’s less developed regions.

The scholarships are open to those who are either native born, Hukou holders, currently employed or previously employed for a two-year period in 21 selected provinces. The 21 provinces that meet the criterion of annual GDP of less than RMB20,000 are:
- Guangxi, Yunnan, and Hainan in the South;
- Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Shanxi in the North;
- Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Qinghai, Gansu, Tibet in the West; and
- Henan, Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Anhui, Hunan, Jiangxi in Central China.

CEIBS will choose 20 qualified applicants to interview. The final list of successful applicants will be released on June 20, 2008.
