February 10, 2008. Shanghai campus. - Managing Partner of China Equity Links (CEL) Mr. André Loesekrug-Pietri today announced that his company has generously offered two scholarships to CEIBS MBA students who have an interest in private equity.

Scholarship recipients will benefit from internships in CEL's Beijing and Paris offices, providing exposure to both the Asian and European PE environments. Running between 6 weeks and 2 months, the internship comes with an allowance of up to RMB25,000. 

CEIBS Distinguished Professor of Global Responsible Leadership Henri-Claude de Bettignies was instrumental in organizing the scholarship.

CEL is the first independent continental Europe Private Equity Fund especially targeted to the China market. The scholarship seeks to provide future PE professionals with chances to explore the relevance, interests and career dimensions of the private equity industry which is becoming increasingly significant in the global financial world.
