February 22, 2008. Shanghai campus. - CEIBS President Zhu Xiaoming today updated Vice Premier Wu Yi, Vice Minister of Commerce Ma Xiuhong, and other senior government officials on the latest developments at CEIBS and the China Outsourcing Institute. The briefing, which was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Information Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology, and other government agencies, was part of the activities in which the CEIBS President participated during a visit to Anhui on February 21 to 23.

Prof. Zhu was invited by the Anhui Provincial Government and Communist Party Committee to the official ceremony to mark Hefei’s recognition as China Outsourcing Demonstration City.  Hefei Mayor Wu Cunrong is a CEIBS EMBA alumnus.

This afternoon, Prof. Zhu also delivered the keynote speech -- entitled "Global Competitiveness of China’s Outsourcing Industry" -- to an audience of 500 businesspeople, academics and key Hefei government officials.
