December 2007 -- The China Europe International Business School's MBA Programme has been ranked No. 1 in China for 2007, beating out 96 other universities for the top spot.

Among the 250-plus recruiters polled in the 2007 BusinessWeek China Survey, released in the December 2007 editions of the magazine's English and Chinese language versions, 38% said the CEIBS MBA Programme was best in China. The other top-five schools in the survey were: the Beijing International MBA (BiMBA) offered at Peking University (31% of employers polled), Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management (9%), Fudan University's School of Management (6%), and Shanghai Jiao Tong University's An Tai School of Management (4%).

Recruiters from 253 top-tier Chinese and international companies were polled for the third annual BusinessWeek China survey. The findings showed that Chinese B schools are gaining even more recognition as suppliers of top-quality management professionals. An increasing number of companies (34%) rated the supply of high-quality talent provided by China's MBA programmes as "excellent" or "good". That was almost 50% more than the number who gave similar responses in 2006.

This year's survey by BusinessWeek China also included the employment rate of MBA alumni, employer feedback, the business schools' marketing, research ability, finances, and overall operation to determine the best MBA programme in China.

Snagging the top spot on the BusinessWeek China list is just the latest of CEIBS' accomplishments among international business media. Other recent awards include:
