November 17, 2007. Brussels - The 2007 CEIBS Board of Directors Meeting concluded on today in Brussels. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Xie Shengwu, Chairman of the school' s Board of Directors and former President of Shanghai Jiaotong University.

The meeting began with reports from the four members of the school' s Management Committee: Executive President Pedro Nueno, President Zhu Xiaoming, Dean and Vice President Rolf D. Cremer, and Vice President and Co-Dean Zhang Weijiong. Afterwards, the board of directors congratulated the school on the impressive achievements made during 2007 in terms of program quality, international cooperation, and brand building. The board directors then encouraged faculty and staff to sustain their efforts in maintaining CEIBS' leading position in an increasingly competitive market, and to contribute more significantly to the development of China's management education and its economic relations and cultural exchanges with the European Union.

The meeting adopted the minutes of 2006 Board of Directors Meeting, the status report of 2007 Board of Directors Meeting, and the school's 2008 Budget. The next Board of Directors meeting will take place in Shanghai on November 8, 2008 on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of CEIBS.
