May 31, 2007. Shanghai Campus - CEIBS students and faculty enjoyed a taste of 'La Dolce Vita' (the sweet life) when the Shanghai campus hosted Italian Night. Participants enjoyed an evening of Italian culinary delicacies, wine tasting, music and film. The event was one of the most popular, well-attended student-organized events since the start of the MBA06 program.
 
During the celebrations, participants were treated to a wide range of Italian specialty foods, from savory focaccia to sweet gelato. While swaying to the rhythm of Italian music, guests sipped espresso and got ready for a lesson in fine wines. An expert sommelier revealed the secrets of wine tasting, revealing the distinct qualities of sparkling Prosecco, bold Chianti, and crisp Pinot Grigio. The evening ended with a screening of the film La Dolce Vita.
 
Italian Night was jointly organized by the CEIBS International Club, Movie Club, and Women-in-Business Club. Sponsors Dorando & Vending generously provided the food and coffee while Torres Winery supplied the wine.
