May 28, 2007. Shanghai Campus -- Celebrating the success completion of the Second Annual Being Globally Responsible Conference (BGRC), CEIBS held a BGRC Appreciation Dinner today. Roughly 50 students from MBA2006 and MBA2007 who contributed to this conference attended the dinner.
The dinner began with Richard Zhu, leader of the Conference Organization Committee, sharing stories of how the core team strived to achieve the best result under the pressure of each stage. Special thanks were dedicated to Sarah Zheng for her hard work in finding sponsors, Alex Wang for his time on marketing materials of the conference, Andrea Ke for the effective communication with speakers and students, Terry Hsu for his sleepless nights handling logistics, and Simon Chikosh, Ian Bi and Maggie Chen for the event organization. He also extended his appreciation to all volunteers, especially Tristan Lim, David Vinagre, Hubert Zheng, Laura Chen, Carrie Xiao and Yanqing Lv for their great support to the core team.
"I am very proud and honored to work in this fantastic team and a heartfelt appreciation to all the volunteers" commented Richard Zhu. "I hope the idea and practice of CSR will carry on in our future business work and the success of BGRC will be continued in CEIBS."

MBA2006 student Alex Wang held the Certificate of Merit overhead to show his appreciation for this honor.
On behalf of the school, MBA directors Lydia Price and Yvonne Li presented Certificates of Merit to the core team members to convey the recognition from the school. Professor Lydia Price emphasized that the impact from BGRC is profound and that CEIBS at present is getting well known for its leading role in promoting social responsibility in addition to its academic excellence. In conclusion, Dean Price expressed her hope that the BGRC will enjoy a strong future as one of CEIBS' trademark activities.
