April 17th 2007: On his second visit to CEIBS in three years, The Chairman of the Board of BEKAERT, Baron Paul Buysse, CMG CBE, had strong words of encouragement and congratulations for the management, faculty, students and staff of CEIBS during the signing ceremony for the continuation of the three year partnership between BEKAERT and CEIBS.

Baron Buysse commented on the passion of the faculty, students and staff at CEIBS to continue to move China forward; "What CEIBS is doing is very important for BEKAERT and we are proud to be part of the CEIBS vision". Equally Baron Buysse emphasized how it was strategically important to BEKAERT to contribute to the further development of the Chinese community as a whole, through supporting executive education and management leadership initiatives in China.

By continuing their corporate partnership programme with CEIBS, BEKAERT will contribute Euro 100,000 to the CEIBS development Fund. Together the two organizations will work closely on talent recruitment and executive development projects. BEKAERT is currently expanding their 4,000 strong workforce in 7 locations and strives to enhance its training and development efforts to its entire staff. CEIBS is also strongly supported by Mr. Herman Vandaele,  President Bekaert Asia, Group Vice President , through his active participation in the CEIBS Corporate Advisory Board who meets with the CEIBS Dean four times per year.
