The Most Valuable Full Time MBA Programme In China - CEIBS

The magazine Forbes/China released recently the "2007 Rank of The Most Valuable Business School in China". The China Europe International Business School tops the list of full time MBA Programme for three consecutive years while the Beijing International MBA at Peking University ranks the first for the part time MBA Programme. The rank is based on the third year survey to business schools and their graduates since its launch in 2005.

The criteria of the survey focus on the return on investment for MBA 2003 gradates within 4 years after their graduation. As revealed by the survey, the total return in 4 years after graduation for CEIBS MBA graduates reached RMB 563,000 and the annually salary increase rate is as high as 30.5%. At the same time, CEIBS 2003 graduates earn the highest absolute income and their income increase rate is also the highest. In addition the survey showed that it takes 1.9 years, the shortest period in the list, for CEIBS MBA graduates to get the investment on MBA education back.

In order to give a whole picture of the job market for MBA graduates, Forbes/China also did a research on MBA 2006 graduates and thus listed the Top 20 business schools with highest salary increases of all graduates. The MBA graduates in those business schools have an average working experience of 6.9 years before their entrance into MBA Programmes while their average salary after graduation reached RMB141,000. Their start salaries after graduation went up 90% from Pre-MBA period and were seen an rise of 12% compared with those of 2005 MBA graduates. CEIBS still appears on the top in this list. The starting salary of 2006 CEIBS MBA graduates attained 304,000, an elevation of 52.8% from last year graduates.

Apart from the recognition from Forbes/China, Business Week/China December 2006 edition also ranked the CEIBS as the Best Business School in China based on the appraisal from the employer side. On January 29th, 2007, Financial Times ranked CEIBS No. 11 on the Global Full Time MBA Rank with a leap of 10 slots forward and No. 1 in Asia for 4 consecutive years. Those approbations from different media and perspectives proved the high educational capacity of CEIBS MBA Programme and its leading position in education industry in China as well as in Asia-Pacific.
