On a beautiful April 7th spring morning, loud cheers broke the usual quiet and serious campus.  This was a special occasion for all MBA 06 classmates, their families and friends who were invited to enjoy a fun day filled with various activities organized by the International, Business Women's, Social Responsibility, Badminton, and Ping Pong clubs.

Family Day is part of an annual tradition for MBA students at CEIBS.  With MBA courses being quite heavy and many people studying very diligently, it comes to no surprise that sometimes our families may feel neglected and forgotten.  Therefore, Family Day provided an opportunity for students to enjoy some quality time with their loved ones and help keep the balance between school/work and family/home life.

To ensure that the event was interesting to the many children who arrived, sponsorship clubs planned quite a lot exciting activities to keep them busy such as goldfish and turtle fishing, picture drawing and even an environmental protection game.  Adults also found their own happy childhood time by participating in many special sporting competitions like badminton, bicycling, Frisbee and Ping Pong transport games.

The busiest and most bustling area was the Charity Bazaar table where people gathered around to sell and purchase donated items. All proceeds collected are going to a Charity fund.  If you had a chance to look at the items on this table, you could find all sorts of things you could use:  jewelry, a Zippo lighter, books, magazines, CDs, DVD's, household appliances, cosmetics, perfumes, chocolate, etc.  Some professors also donated some of their valuable items including books with their signatures on the inside front cover.  Everyone took this opportunity to present his/her love and care to those in need.  Seeing this, a visitor might say that MBA students at CEIBS are not what most people might think: personal gains and profit seeking, instead they are generous and indeed have a strong sense of social responsibility.

For lunch, organizers prepared a grand feast for everyone to sit down and enjoy.  It was an absolute pleasure to be able to relax under the warm April sun with a glass of wine after an exciting morning of sports and charity work.  We had an excellent time and would like to thank everyone's contribution, time and energy in making this happen.  Many wishes to you and your family, who are an extension of the CEIBS family, and may everybody be happy and prosperous forever.
