The CEIBS MBA Social Venture Club organized a Clothes-Donation-Campaign recently. Its aim lies in helping the poor children in the poverty-stricken areas in Yunnan Province with the donated clothes and stationeries from CEIBS students, faculty and staff.

The campaign received great support from CEIBS students, staff and faculty. Over one thousand of clothes, shoes, toys and stationeries were subscribed within short period. Together with the clothes, the warm-hearted donators also contributed as much as RMB1080 as the postal fee for the donations. Some MBA students who didn't have old clothes on hand expressed their caring for the poor children by donating their suitcases to contain the donations.

CEIBS MBA Social Venture Club was established in July, 2004 with the objective of enhancing the social awareness on social causes through initiating donation, community service and social entrepreneurship. Since its establishment, the club has held many non-profit activities such as charity sale, free teaching, holding Beijing Global Social Responsibility Competition, etc. Those activities showed the high social responsibility of the CEIBS MBA students and added benefits to the society.
