Following the Culture Fair held by the International Club last term, the CEIBS MBA Women-in-Business Club took the lead in kicking off this term club activities with a Tea Tasting Event on January 11th at the Western Canteen. The activity was intended to promote "tea culture" as well as the lifestyle among business students.

Warrior Bai (MBA06 Student) started the Tasting with the explanation of the name of the most famous Chinese Wulong Tea "Tie Guan Yin".
Around 40 MBA students participated in the event and spent a wonderful afternoon tea time. The student tea experts demonstrated the tea ceremony for 4 kinds of Chinese and foreign teas. (Wulong tea, PuEr tea; Fancy mixture of PuEr tea and Singaporean tea) Why should a "big-belly" tea pot be used for PuEr tea while clay tea pots suit Wulong tea better? What is the best choice for keeping-fit? Vivid explanations from the student experts and humorous interactions all culminated in a fun and educational event.

Carrie Xiao (MBA06 Student) is a PuEr tea fan and she is explaining the benefits of drinking PuEr tea.
The Women-in-Business Club, one of the 28 MBA student clubs in CEIBS, aims to serve the students and enhance the competitiveness of women students in the fiercely competitive business environment. The Tea-Tasting Event is one of its "Elegance-in-Life" series activities, while it also organizes another equally important series focusing on "Smart Business."
