SHANGHAI, China, October 30-31, 2006. China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) will host the fourth China Automotive Industry Forum at Shanghai Petrochemical Auditorium in CEIBS.
Further to the success of last year's forum, this year's topic, "Feasible and Sustainable Development" will look at the same problems as the global industry is facing: over-capacity and low (or no) profitability throughout the value chain. Eight sessions throughout two days will cover such topics as Macroeconomic and Automotive Industry Policies in China, China in the Global Automotive Market , Sustainable Development: Standards & Regulations, Movement Towards a Competitive Automotive Component Industry-Synchronization of the Supply Chain , Product and Brand, Distribution: the Main Battlefield, and Developing Trends in China's Commercial Vehicle Sector. The closing session will address the China's Automotive Industry Structure: Cooperation & Consolidation.
Representatives from different sectors of the auto industry in China will gather together and discuss practical options from the perspectives of government, scholars, and automobile companies.
