To foster the application of Participant-Centered Learning and better serve the Program on Case Method and Participant-Centered Learning (PCMPCL) participating schools, Harvard Business School Publishing (HBSP) has authorized the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) to set up HBS Case Distribution Center at CEIBS. Currently, the Center only distributes Harvard Business School cases and Harvard Business Review reprints in English format to PCMPCL participating schools in the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong. The creation of the Center will not only bring better service to users but also decrease the price of HBSP products.

Organized by HBS, PCMPCL is a faculty training program tailored for leading business schools in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. So far, 216 professors in the region have joined PCMPCL, including nine deans and 22 associate deans. In order to provide continuous supports to PCMPCL participants, HBSP decided to set up case distribution centers in the Chinese mainland and Taiwan respectively.

Founded in 1994, HBSP is a not-for-profit, wholly-owned subsidiary of Harvard University. Its mission is to improve the practice of management in a changing world. HBSP is the largest case-development institution in the world. Each year, approximately 300 new cases are added to its collection of over 9,000 cases. CEIBS is the only business school in the Chinese mainland whose MBA, EMBA and EDP are all ranked among top 50 in the world. With strong commitments to case teaching and case development, CEIBS established its Case Development Center in 2001. CEIBS is one of the PCMPCL participating schools.

"With this new initiative, HBSP and CEIBS made an exciting contribution to practice-oriented, relevant management education in China, and also to close cooperation between leading business schools," said CEIBS Dean, Professor Rolf D. Cremer.
