SHANGHAI, China, September 16, 2006 - China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), the leading business school in Asia, will host the second annual China Health Care Management Forum at their Shanghai campus.
Building on the success of last year's forum, this year's topic, "New Horizons for China's Medical Reform", will look at the macro issues behind the soaring and unaffordable medical costs. Six sessions throughout the day will cover such topics as strategic choice in the development of China's health care system, establishment of a fair and efficient medical delivery system, medical insurance, the pharmaceutical industry's innovation and build up of R & D capability, and the creation of a modern medicine distribution system. The closing session will address the prospects of the county's health care reform given the size and complexity of China.
Representatives from different sectors of the health care industry in China will come together and discuss practical options from the perspectives of government, scholars, pharmaceutical companies, health insurance companies and hospitals.
