1st MBA vs. EMBA Badminton Playoff

The 1st MBA vs. EMBA Badminton Playoff was held between MBA 2007 and EMBA 2006 on Oct. 27th, 2007 at CEIBS. It was not only a friendly and exciting experience for both the EMBA and MBA students to compete and get to know one another, but also a warm-up for the upcoming 1st CEIBS Badminton Tournament.

Eight matches were held, including three men’s singles, two men’s doubles, two women’s doubles, and one mixed doubles.  EMBA 06 won four matches, among which the most heated one was the Mixed Doubles.  After each taking one set in the first two sets, the MBA and EMBA teams got into a tight fight in the final set.  The score was tied many times and the EMBA team finally prevailed in the last few points.

This event received great support from the staffs of MBA Office, who not only helped with the organization but also came to cheer the players on during the matches.  We would like to thank everyone for your help, support, and participation, and hope to see you on the courts again soon.
