1st CEIBS IDOLs were born!!!
June 11th, 2009. Shanghai -- The 1st CEIBS IDOLs were born on 11th June!! The event was taken place in Haoledi KTV. About 40 people were there to support their fellows including Sunna Lu and Rita Wong from the MBA office.
A lot of people showed up for support the CEIBS IDOL!!
There were two categories: English songs and Chinese songs. Participants took turns to perform and the order was determined by a draw to ensure fairness. Judging is divided into three parts: voting from the audience, scoring by a judge panel (Abhijit Chitnis, Rita Wong and Victor Wu) and voting among participants. The three parts are weighted equally.

All the singers sang exceptionally well and that proved CEIBS has got talents!! Especially Puneet and Jitesh sang without any background music. The Indians have got the music genes in them!! After some excellent performances, the CEIBS IDOLs were born:
JESS ZHANG (English songs) and JAMES WANG (Chinese songs)!!!!!!

Certificates issued by the Music Club were presented to both the IDOLs and they are now officially the IDOLs of the school!! Hopefully the CEIBS IDOL will become part of the CEIBS culture and can be passed on to the next generations.
