Internal Students Magazine Shenme

“Shenme?” is CEIBS’ first student-run newspaper. It was launched in January 2008 by 3 enthusiastic students of the class of 2007-2009.

It aims at creating a forum for CEIBS’ students and professors to highlight their talents, experiences and opinions on various topics. It is a newspaper ‘for the students, by the students’.

The first edition included a varied and colorful mix of articles regarding section parties, sharing of internship and exchange experiences. This created a fun mix of useful business and school-related information which will helps students to get know each other better and strengthens CEIBS’ community.

“Shenme?” means “What?” in Mandarin (什么?). This name captures the essence of the purpose of the newspaper, which is to report on what is happening on and around campus.

CEIBS strongly encourages students to take part in this initiative by encouraging all students to contribute to it, creating more regular issues and ensuring that this newspaper becomes a lasting tradition. The editors hope to publish the newspaper on regular basis using mainly local business support.
