Chinese Jade lecture and lottery

Jan 22, 2008. Shanghai Campus, Connoisseur club organized a Chinese Jade lecture including an introduction of the club, Chinese Jade lecture and lottery.

Kicking off the events was President of the club, Gary Wang, who welcomed the 30 plus students and the lecturer, Mr. Li Xiaojiang, to the event. Gary introduced the mission of the club is to    share the happiness from the hobbies and accumulate knowledge beyond textbooks and the events will include Chinese Jade, Chinese Tea, diamond, antique and any interesting topics.

Following by Gary's address, the lecture kicked off by Mr. Lee. Mr. Lee is an expert in jewelry and a master of Gemology, Diamond Member of the Gemological Association of Britain, Certified Gemologist of China. He gave students an interesting lecture about the history of Hetian Jade, and how to evaluate Hetian Jade.

In addition to the lecture, connoisseur club also held a lottery. Arron Wang won the gift, an Artini necklace, which was donated by Baoli. The event lasted 2 hours. On the next day Mr. Li led a small group to Shanghai museum for an advanced appreciation event.
