At the very beginning of year 2008, the New Year Forum of CEIBS Alumni Entrepreneur club and MBA China Business Club starts its prologue - MBA, Manager of Entrepreneur? Some 200 alumni and MBA students gathered in CEIBS Shanghai campus at the evening of 16th January to attend this splendid speech relating to a very attractive topic - "MBA Entrepreneur".
Some guest speakers were invited to join this event either, including Mr. Zhang Wei (EMBA96 alumnus), the partner of travel magazine ? Traveler, Mr. Martin Wang (MBA97 alumnus), Chief consultant of 121 interacting and direct-marketing organization and the pioneer of Chinese direct-marketing training, Mr. Jerry Gu (MBA07 student), CEO of Shanghai Qichen information Technology Co., Ltd and Mr. Qi Yuwei (EMBA03 alumnus), the Vice secretary-general of Shanghai Technology Entrepreneurship Foundation for Graduates.
After the welcome of MCs, Ms Ran Du from MBA China Business Club and Mr. Marshall Ma from CEIBS Alumni Entrepreneurship Club, Four guest speakers shared their rich experience and constructive advice in dealing with problems and obstacles during the entrepreneur time subsequently. No matter the low-cost but efficient marketing model of Mr. Martin Wang, the team work spirit of Mr. Jerry Gu, the profitable business model of Mr. Zhang Wei and the unique advantages combination of MBA graduates of Mr. Qi Yuwei all generates very positive response from audiences.
In 2008, the Alumni Entrepreneurship Club will be organizing more attractive events for club members, alumni and students.
