Inspiration from Mentor’s Entrepreneur story

I am very honored to be picked up by my mentor, JunJie Li, the General Manager of Wellway Zhongshan Indelb Enterprise Co.,Ltd. Together with another classmates, we had twice deep conversations and interactions with Mr. Shi. I was very lucky to get the internship experiences in last December in Wellway.
Mr. Shi, with electronic engineer background, originated a company producing small electronic equipments. He shared his 5 years successful experiences of how to set up new business and life acknowledgement through the process. His strong entrepreneurship with persistent, open-minded spirit touched us a lot. At the beginning 2 years, Mr. Shi borne great pressure of losing money and insisted serving an Italian client, finally got the investment contract and established Wellway.
During the two week internship, I visited the staffs in departments covered HR, operation analysis, operation and production and got further understanding of the company. In the HR aspect, the company uses competitive packages to sustain the key staffs and recruit the outstanding talents. Located in Zhongshan, however, Wellway can not find suitable and long-tem person. There are about 300 production workers, and most of them are migrant labors. Around every December, the labors began to go back for holidays which may cause the staffs storage and part of the orders can not be finished in time. This kind of problems is quite common that most of the SMEs in Zhujiang Delta areas face. In the production management aspect, the company developed its own system to unify the management and coordinate the orders assessment, the purchasing, the accounting and the production and sales processes. To further accomplish the development objective in the next 3-5 years, I suggested the company use ERP system to enhance the efficiency so as to accelerate the development.
