The international exchange programme at CEIBS is one of the best among the top global business schools. As a very important criteria demonstrating the school's international feature, this programme offers a unique opportunity for students to participate in bilateral exchange with over 30 partner schools, most of which are among the global top 50 list of the Financial Times. In 2007, CEIBS was ranked 9th globally in "international experience" by Financial Times.
CEIBS is also the earliest member from Mainland China of the global network of universities called PIM (Partnership in International Management), which gives us a unique opportunity to cooperate with distinguished institutions in the Europe, North America, Australasia and South America.
Students outgoing on exchange are waived on the tuition fee at CEIBS's partner schools while other expenses such as transportation, housing, food should be afforded by students themselves.
In the past 10 years, almost 500 CEIBS students have taken advantage of this programme and that experience has become the best memory in their life. Students choose to stay at CEIBS also have no regrets. Each year, a large number of international students from our partner schools will join them in the fall term for selective courses. In 2007, around 40% of its MBA2006 intakes go on international exchange while over 80 international students from our partner schools join the exchange programme at CEIBS.
Though the exchange takes place in the 4th term of the MBA programme, the application actually starts as early as in February and decision is made by April. The selection criteria include applicant's academic records (GPA), contribution to the school, interview as well as the slots availability.
