Concentration & Electives

Concentrations

Students can opt for a general management focus or Finance, Marketing or Entrepreneurship by taking elective courses as required. Students who participate in international exchange and wish to take a concentration are advised to take full advantage of the courses offered by exchange partner schools which excel in Finance, Marketing or Entrepreneurship.

To qualify for the Marketing Concentration, students must complete 12 credits of electives in Marketing, including two required electives: (1) Marketing Research and (2) Consumer Behaviour or Managing Business Marketing & Branding. To qualify for the Finance Concentration, students must complete 12 credits of electives in Finance & Accounting, including two out of the following three electives: (1) Investments, (2) Advanced Corporate Finance, and (3) Financial Statement Analysis. To qualify for the Entrepreneurship Concentration, students must complete 12 credits of electives in Entrepreneurship, including two required electives: (1) Starting New Ventures and (2) Entrepreneurial Finance.
