According to China's law, foreign students are required to obtain a student visa (X visa) and a Resident Permit during the 18 months study at CEIBS MBA Programme.
First of all, foreign students need to hold a valid visa to enter China. You may enter China with a tourist visa (L visa), a visiting visa (F visa) or a working visa (Z visa) and the School will assist you to change your visa type to an X visa. You may also apply for an X visa in the first place.
Second, foreign students must apply for a Residence Permit after you enter China. It is important to report to the MBA Office upon your arrival. The MBA Office will help you obtain necessary documents to apply for the Residence Permit.
Failure to get such documents may incur serious legal actions against the passport holder such as fine, termination of study or deportation.
As one procedure of Resident Permit application, you need to take medical check at a local designated medical check center. If you did medical check during your visa application outside of China, please take the original copy of the medical check report with you. The MBA Office will assist you to proceed the medical check.
