Love Library

        Twenty-one cargo cases of toys, books and school supplies, weighing over 800 kilograms, donated by the CEIBS "Heyi" Club were delivered to the earthquake-hit area by CEIBS alumni volunteers Wang Lingjiang (EMBA 2006), Sun Yu (EMBA 2002), Wang Hongbo (EMBA 2004), Wan Fang (EMBA 2004), and Hou Daqing (DIMP 2002), in time for Children's Day.


MAKING CHILDREN'S DAY HAPPIER - Spirits rose among young survivors when CEIBS alumni volunteers delivered cases of books and toys to villages in Sichuan on June 1.


        The presents were handed out directly to recipients or sent to the Love Library - a volunteer programme established by CEIBS alumni. The goal of the alumni group is to establish a network of 100 libraries throughout the earthquake zone. The first of these libraries, the Sports Center/Love Library, opened on June 6 in Mianzhu City.
