Application

CEIBS Alumni who want to borrow books from the Library's collection may apply for CEIBS Alumni Borrower Card at the rate of RMB500.00 per year (for the member of CEIBS Alumni Association, the annual rate is RMB200.00) and RMB1,500.00 of deposit. If you are not going to enjoy the borrowing privilege any more, the deposit can be refunded after returning all borrowed books and clearing overdue fines.

Application for the Alumni Borrower Card can be made in daytime of Monday through Friday at the Library Information Desk. Your 2 recent 1" photographs, copy of ID card and Diploma are required. To apply by mail, please give your name, ID number, year of graduation, mailing and email address, business phone and home phone.

Please do not send cash or check by mail. You can remit money through post office or directly to our bank account as follows:

 

Please send a copy of your receipt together with your application package. No application will be considered without application fee.

Regulations

Alumni Borrower Card is issued to individuals upon verification of personal identification and status. The Card is not transferable.

Individuals must show their Alumni Borrower Card upon borrowing books.

Alumni Borrower Card holder may borrow 2 books (except reference and reserved books) for 4 weeks. Another 4-week-renewal is allowed only when no one has reserved the book. When a book is needed for teaching course or some emergency, the loan period is automatically shortened and the borrower would be notified of the new due date. Overdue fines are RMB1.00 per day. Fines must be cleared before borrowing books.

The borrowing privilege may be revoked or suspended if abused by the user.

Matters unmentioned are subject to handle in accordance with CEIBS Library borrowing policy.
