COLLECTIONS:
USA Trade Online is set up by both STAT-USA and the Foreign Trade Division of the U.S. Census Bureau. Users can find specific US export and import information on more than 18,000 commodities world wide and accessible foreign market intelligence that will keep them on the leading edge of their competition from it.
USA Trade Online has 2- through 10- digit HS(Harmonised Tariff Classification System) detail for commodities in the following data tables:
Exports & Imports - current month & previous month
Exports & Imports - current year & prior year
Exports & Imports - annual two year, historical
Users can gain unlimited access to the latest official statistics on US foreign trade and search for data on specific products. In addition, they can discover existing and emerging export markets for the products, and determine their market share of export markets for specific products and monitor trends in specific products, markets, and countries.
OPERATION GUIDE:
- CHOOSE DATABASE:
Click "e-database" button on the web page of CEIBS library and then click the link of "USA Trade on line" to enter. The database is controlled under IP address, available on CEIBS computer terminals, without need for username and password.
- SEARCH OPERATORS
Find "Click here to access the trade data" from the home page, just click it and you will see the web page of Data Selection, you can choose the subject area in the list by clicking the related name, and you will see the searching engine. Please choose every item according to your requirement, then you can get the report. You can download the report and save it as an ivt, xls or csv file, or, you can just save it to "My Reports" for future access.
