Every company worldwide which participates in business to business commerce may be listed in the Kompass Database. The Kompass Database contains close to 1.6 million companies. The information is presented in comprehensive company profiles which include contact details, product and service information, names of executives, etc...
OPERATION GUIDE:
CHOOSE DATABASE
Choose “KOMPASS WORLDWIDE” under the “E-databases” section from the library’s web page.
- On campus: enter the search page directly.
SEARCH METHOD
You can search from product name, product code, number of employees, company name, sales, region, town, phone code, post code, parent/subsidiary, trade name, members of, year of establishment, area of investment, importer, exporter, ISO9000, fax indicator, logo, public listed companies
RESULT OUTPUT
Total 3,000 credits per year for printing and export by individual, one company exporting or printing is recorded one credit. The search result can be exported into EXCEL format.
