China Centre for Financial Research was established in 2005.

The centre has three main goals:

• Conduct academic and applied research on important issues related to financial markets and corporate finance in China . Cooperate with other research entities in knowledge generation. Provides collaborate and supportive research environment for young scholars in finance research.
• Facilitate the transfer of cutting-edge knowledge to decision makers in government and business community. Contribute to the development of capital markets and corporate finance practice in China .
• Enhance CEIBS classroom teaching using our research results. Provide education and training to industry communities on practical finance knowledge.

CCFR is directed by Professor Chun Chang.
