Speaker: Dr. Augustin Maravall, Chief Economist of the Bank of Spain in Madrid
Dr. Maravall is Chief Economist and Head of the Time Series Analysis at the Bank of Spain in Madrid. Prior to joining the Bank of Spain as Chief Economist, he was a full professor in the Department of Economics at the European University Institute in Florence. Dr. Maravall has been publishing extensively on Time Series Techniques in Economic Analysis, quality control of Time Series and Short Term Analysis of Macroeconomic Time Series. He has been an invited speaker to many international seminars and conferences by the United Nations Statistical Commission and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe as well as the American Economic Association speaking on Seasonal Adjustments and Modeling Seasonality and Periodicity.
