Speaker: Dr. Zhang Guangping, Chief Financial Engineering Advisor, Shanghai Futures Exchange

Zhang Guangping received his Ph.D. in economics from Southern Methodist University in 1991. After graduation he worked in MMS International (Standard & Poor's Group), Union Bank of Switzerland New York Branch, and Chemical Bank head office in New York City, and served as Vice President for Chase Manhattan Bank - Tokyo Branch from 1996 to 1998. He joined Shanghai Futures Exchange as Chief Financial Engineering Advisor in 2003 and was appointed as Senior Director of R&D Center of the exchange in 2004. Dr. Zhang's research areas are financial derivatives and risk management. He has published articles and books in both English and Chinese.
