Dr. Zhu Tian is Professor of Economics at CEIBS. Before joining the School, he taught at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a Senior Fellow of the National Center for Economic Research at Tsinghua University. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Zhu worked as an Industry Analyst for the First National Bank of Chicago.

Dr. Zhu's recent research has been published in various academic journals including Economic Inquiry, Economics of Transition, Industrial and Corporate Change, International Economic Review, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. He has also published a number of op-ed articles in popular media such as the Wall Street Journal.
