Jian Han is Assistant Professor of Management at CEIBS. Prior to joining CEIBS, she was Assistant Professor of Organization Management in Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. She earned her Ph.D. in Human Resource Studies from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University.
Dr. Han's research interest focuses on the relationship between human resource management and different performance outcomes such as innovation, talent recruiting and retention, citizenship behavior, service quality, management effectiveness, and financial performance. Her research has been accepted for publication in international journals such as Human Resource Management, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Research Methods, and Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings. She also published in Chinese management journals such as Management World, Economic Science, and PKU Business Review. Dr. Han is the principal investigator on the Chinese NSF project of managing workforce diversity and innovation.
Dr. Han has also worked as an organizational consultant for several organizations on a variety of projects, including talent recruiting, staffing, performance management, and employee communication.
Dr. Han is a member of the Academy of Management, the Industrial Relation Research Association, and a founding member of the International Association of Chinese Management Research.
