Dr. Dingkun Ge is Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at CEIBS. Previously he was Assistant Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the San Francisco State University. Dr. Ge received his PhD degree in Strategy and Entrepreneurship, with an M.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He had his bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from the Renmin University of China.
Dr. Ge's published and ongoing research studies corporate growth strategy, organizational learning, knowledge transfer and corporate innovation, strategic alliance and inter-firm network, venture capital investment and value pricing. Dr. Ge has won awards and acclaims in national and international competitions. In 2003, his dissertation was awarded the Coleman Foundation Academy of Management Best Dissertation Award through a nationwide competition open to all doctoral students in the United States. In 2005, his paper was nominated as one of the top 10 best papers at the Strategic Management Society in a worldwide competition. In 2002, his paper was selected to the Best Paper Proceedings of the Academy of Management and nominated for the Robert Litschert Award. He was also a recipient of Kauffman Fellowship of Entrepreneurship and University of Illinois Fellowship.
Before his doctoral education, Dr. Ge had gained substantial experience in working for several Fortune 500 US and European multinational companies in China, holding regional and national management positions. He was on the Board of Directors of the Renaissance Center for Entrepreneurship in San Francisco and Chinese Information and Networking Association in Silicon Valley.
