SHORT BIO
 

Dr. Kalun Tse is Professor of Finance at CEIBS  since 1995. He was previously Associate Dean and Member of the Academic Council of CEIBS. He is also Professor of Finance at Nyenrode University in The Netherlands. He serves as a Visiting Professor at the Free University, Amsterdam and at the Vlerick, Leuven and Gent School of Management, Belgium. Dr. Tse was a Guest Professor at INSEAD - CEDEP in Fontainebleau, France. Between 1997 and 2002, he was selected 3 times as Professor of the Year at Nyenrode University.

Dr. Tse received his MSc in Management Science and his PhD in Financial Economics from Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He serves as an advisor to several government bodies and international agencies, and has consulted to financial institutions and companies in Europe and the Far East. Dr. Tse's research and consulting interests focus on corporate financial strategies, real operating options, treasury management, and financial sector reform in China. His research has been supported by the European Union, the World Bank, and other international agencies and has been published in the European Journal of Finance, the European Management Journal, and the International Journal of Management.
