Dr. Gerald Fryxell is Professor of Management at CEIBS. Previously, he served as the Head of the Department of Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and was a tenured Associate Professor and Director of the Ph.D. program in strategic management at the University of Tennessee. He has had two Fulbright awards (Tanzania, 1989-90 and Romania, 1993-94). He received his Ph.D. from Indiana University (1986), an MBA from Grand Valley State Colleges (1979), and a B.S. from Wisconsin State University (1970). He is also a registered Medical Technologist (1971). His recent publications have appeared in the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Environmental Management, Environment and Planning, World Development, Journal of Management and Journal of Business Ethics.
