This programme will apply fundamental and market analysis to stocks and fixed income securities. There will be a focus on valuation techniques and asset allocation using top-down and bottoms-up approach and emphasizing on relative value assessments. Using fundamentals it will cover the basics and insights of asset allocation techniques and portfolio management strategies used by global investment managements to help deliver performance.

Who will be the Programme Director? Dr. Aaron LOW
- Aaron is a principal of Lumen Advisors LLC in San Francisco and Director of Lumen Funds where he co-leads investment strategies in the Lumen global Fund. He is also the senior advisor to the Harvest Asset Management in Beijing.
- Previously, he was Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of fixed Income at PIMCO managing global bonds from 2001 to 2004. He was part of the investment team which won several Morningstar and Lipper investment awards for performance in Global Markets and Emerging Bonds.
- Prior to PIMCO, he was head of Fixed Income, Asia and Senior Portfolio Manager for Dresdner RCM Global Investors from 1997 to 2001. He was also responsible for starting DRCM's Asia operations which grew to $3bn in the regional office.
- Aaron was also named the "Most Astute Investor" by the Benchmark Survey in 2003-04 and again in 2004-2005. He was co-lead of the team that won the PIMCO cyclical forum investment strategy series from 2003-2004. He holds several positions in the CFA Institute including the Chair of the Asia-Pacific Advocacy Committee and serves on the Global Capital Markets Policy Council. He sits on the board of directors in regional capital market associations and is on the board of editors of the Journal of Futures Markets.
