9. How can I get to CEIBS?

From other cities:

• From Pudong Airport
• Option 1: by Taxi. You can take a taxi from Pudong Airport to CEIBS at around 90 RMB in about 45 minutes.
• Option 2: by Airport Shuttle Bus. You can take No. 4 Airport Shuttle Bus and get off at the first stop, then take a taxi to CEIBS. The bus fee is 14 RMB and the taxi fee is 11-15 RMB.
• Option 3: by Maglev Train (It runs every 20 minutes from 7:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.). You can get off at Longyang Road Station and then take a taxi to CEIBS. You'll spend 40 RMB on the one-way ticket of the train if you prove flight arrival on the same day of travel with your airline ticket (otherwise it's 50 RMB), and the taxi fee is about 20 RMB.
• From Hongqiao Airport
• You can take a taxi to CEIBS at around 100 RMB in about 1 hour.
• From Shanghai Railway Station
• Option 1: You can take a taxi to CEIBS at about 60 RMB.
• Option 2: Get off Shanghai Metro Line No. 1 at the People's Square and shift to Lane No. 2 at the same station, and then get off at Shanghai Science and Technology Museum Station to take a taxi. The taxi fee is about 20 RMB.
• By self-driving: After entering Shanghai from Shanghai-Nanjing and Shanghai-Hangzhou highway, you can follow the following the way: external circle - Luoshan Road - Jinxiu Dong (East) Road - Hongfeng Road - CEIBS. There's a car park in CEIBS campus.

 

10. How about the accommodation?

There are many hotels around CEIBS and CEIBS has a Service Apartment on its Shanghai campus. Our programme coordinator will fax or email you the Logistics Guide and Reply Sheet about two weeks before the programme, informing you of the hotels you can choose from so that you can make your own choices. The programme coordinator can help with reservations subject to room availability, but each participant is to pay for the room and all other expenses incurred during the stay. These hotels have arranged shuttle buses to take you to CEIBS every morning and back to the hotels after the course. (Please contact the hotels' reception desks to confirm specific arrangement of the shuttle buses.)

11. What are the other facilities on CEIBS campus?

• Business Centre and Bookstore: Should you wish to buy management books, send faxes or make telephone calls during programme break, you could find such services in our bookstore, which is near the main entrance.
• Free access to internet: Free access to internet is available in rest areas of the Information Centre and Academic Centres as well as in your room at CEIBS Service Apartment.
• Library: CEIBS library, named as Global Resources Information Centre, opens from 8:30 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. See relevant details on the website.
• Fitness Centre: The recreation facilities such as gymnasium, badminton, basketball, billiards, table-tennis and all kinds of body-building apparatuses are available in CEIBS Fitness Centre from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m everyday. Please don't forget to take your sportswear with you if you'd like to do some exercises. 
• Ticketing Centre: Located in the Reception of CEIBS, the Ticketing Centre provides participants with transportation ticket booking (including air and train) and issuing, hotel reservation, visa application etc.

 

12. How can I arrange for my dinner?

You have to make arrangement for your dinner if there is no evening session. You can have dinner at the following restaurants which are near to the school other than CEIBS' dining hall which runs until 10 p.m.

13. How can I get to the downtown of Shanghai?
 
CEIBS is situated in Pudong New Area and you can get to the downtown by:

• Taxi: It costs you about 40 RMB to get to the People's Square from CEIBS
• Shanghai Metro: Take a taxi to Shanghai Science and Technology Museum station of Shanghai Metro Line No.2 (about 20 RMB) and get to the downtown by Metro (about 3 to 4 RMB). Please refer to http://www.shmetro.com/life/index.htm for the route and runs of Shanghai Metro.
• Bus: No. 936 bus, No. 984 bus and Shenchuan special-line bus are available at Central Yanggao Road (near Hongfeng Road). It costs you 3 to 5 RMB to get to the downtown.
