EMBA & MBA Mentoring Project
"Learning is not just taking courses, learning is not just in classes, and we are learning not just from the professors".
--Prof. Liang Neng, CEIBS EMBA Director

CEIBS is the first and only school that has been able to build a bridge between two groups of students. CEIBS kicked off the first Mentoring Project in November 2004, in an effort to establish an effective networking platform and promote mutually beneficial relationships between the MBA and EMBA students.
According to the plan, every EMBA student will voluntarily form a group with one or more MBA students based upon similar career backgrounds and interests. Both groups of students will participate in various events organized by the school or students themselves. For example, an MBA student may work part-time for the company of the EMBA student, or the EMBA student would provide an opportunity for the MBA student to access his/her social network. By participating in the Mentoring Project, not only can one expand his/her social network, the EMBA students can improve on their ability to lead the new generation of professional managers, and the MBA students can use this opportunity to train oneself to collaborate with someone more experienced, so that they can also become good leaders and mentors in the future.
