Student Profile: The students at the CEIBS EMBA programme are experienced Executives, Managers and Entrepreneurs who are highly gifted and eager to share their knowledge with others. They are strongly driven by their ambitions to build on and develop their leadership, and they typically demonstrate an international outlook by highlighting cross-cultural experiences.

Core Courses:
Fifteen core courses, where each course is given once a month during four consecutive days from Friday morning until the following Monday afternoon.

International Modules:
Two international courses are offered in partnership with leading business schools. One in the United States, at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and for our Europe module IESE Business School in Spain and IMD in Switzerland host our students. One of the international modules is mandatory, while the second can be chosen in addition.

Research Project:
For the research project students work in groups of maximum 5, and work on this for around 14 months. The process includes attending an opening lecture, selecting a central topic, proposing a project, writing and revising a report, and finally defending the report prior to evaluation. An assigned professor will supervise the project and guide the students through the entire process.

Fees

Fees include:
- Tuition for the two-year programme
- Textbooks and other teaching materials
- Access to the school library and computer resources
- Accommodation and meals during the two residential modules (entry and exit) at CEIBS
- The tuition and ground cost for one of the Global Modules (10-day-8-night module, including the tuition and ground transportation, lodging cost). As most students tend to combine this global module with their other travel needs, flight costs are not included. Students are required to make their own flight arrangements (international flight and domestic flights).
Application:
Requirements:
• Outstanding intellectual ability through both your
undergraduate university degree and the CEIBS Written Test/GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test).
• Minimum of eight years' work experience with at least five years in
managerial positions.
• Strong command of both written and spoken English as English is the
language of instruction.
• Ability to demonstrate your international outlook by highlighting
your cross-cultural experiences and the international scope of your career.
• Work at a highly committed organization that allows you two working days off each month to attend classes (financial sponsorship is not obligatory).
Application Deadline:

Written Test:
Either take the GMAT before application deadline, or the CEIBS test in Shanghai, Beijing or Shenzhen on November 28th, 2009
Interview:
Those who pass the written test will be invited for an interview during the month of December 2009
