The CEIBS Lujiazui International Finance Research Centre was initiated by China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and Shanghai Lujiazui (Group) Co., Ltd. Its vision is to become an authoritative and influential think tank for the development of Shanghai as an international financial centre. The mission of the Centre is as follows:

1. Study cutting-edge topics closely related to the development of Shanghai as an international financial centre;
2. Integrate resources at home and abroad, and provide a high-level platform for interaction, discussion and collaboration;
3. Offer first-class research, consulting and training services to financial institutions;
4. Train senior international financial talent who could adapt to global competition; and
5. Provide consulting service to the government.

The research centre is housed in Villa B at 36 Dongyuan Road (view the video), Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone, a rising landmark of global finance. The villa has four storeys with over 1,200 square meters of floorage, elegantly surrounded by greenery, facing the Huangpu River and backing on the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
