Introduction: Increase of aging population has become a serious challenge in China. How to establish a sustainable pension system is now an issue of common concern. Three aspects are at the core of the pension system: fund raising, fund distribution and accumulated fund management. It is critical for a country to choose the right pension system. Only under the Accumulation Pension System, can a country create current accumulation, and provide sustainable payments through professional fund investment by institutional investors. The sustainability of China’s pension system can be strengthened with the increase of funds in individual pension accounts, with the establishment of reserve institutions and enterprise annuity system. This process will also provide more opportunities for financial market.
