CEIBS MBA Ranked #17 by Bloomberg - #1 in Asia

CEIBS MBA Ranked #17 by Bloomberg<br /> - #1 in Asia

November 11, 2014 – The CEIBS MBA has been ranked #17 on Bloomberg Businessweek’s list of global full-time programmes, making CEIBS the highest ranked Asian school on the list. The rankings look at which b-schools do the best job of preparing MBAs for careers after graduation, and providing them with the best education.

CEIBS’ #17 spot is an indicator of the quality of students the school attracts, their satisfaction with the programme, and increasing recognition from the companies that recruit CEIBS graduates. Students from CEIBS MBA Class of 2014 were asked to rate the quality of CEIBS’ academic and career development, the quality of the student body and school culture, as well as their own skill sets.  In addition to student satisfaction (45%), Bloomberg polled employers (45%), and measured faculty research (10%) in prominent journals in order to rank 112 full-time MBA programmes, the largest number of schools included since the survey began 26 years ago.  The list was further broken down into two categories, one with 85 US schools and one with 27 international schools.

In January, the CEIBS MBA was also ranked #17 by the Financial Times, which focuses on alumni career progress (55%), programme diversity (25%) and idea generation (20%). The CEIBS MBA programme’s #17 spot on both lists shows the programme’s overall strength.

In addition to being ranked #17 by Bloomberg Businessweek, CEIBS MBA has also been ranked #1 in China by Bloomberg Businessweek China for their last three consecutive surveys in 2011, 2007 & 2006. The CEIBS MBA is also:-
• The "Most Valuable Full-time MBA Programme in China" (for five consecutive surveys in 2005-2007, 2010, 2012): Forbes China
• Ranked 7th among the Best International 2-year MBA Programmes (#1 in mainland China), 2013: Forbes Magazine
• The "Best Business School in China” (2014, 2011, 2010, 2009): Eduniversal (award chosen by 1,000 international b-school deans)
• #9 among "Top B-schools in Asia/Australasia" (2011): QS Top MBA
• #18 in the non-US MBA Rankings: Poets & Quants 2012

The Bloomberg Businessweek rankings are conducted every two years.
