CEIBS-Jing’an International Fashion Industry Research Centre, jointly founded by China Europe International Business School and the People’s Government of Jing’an District, Shanghai Municipality, aims to become the most influential international fashion industry research centre in China by capitalizing on CEIBS’ academic resources and the well-developed commercial environment and cultural industries in Jing’an district. With its positioning as an academic research institution, the Centre releases the Report on the Development of International Fashion Industry on a yearly basis, and is dedicated to serving the fashion businesses and facilitating the development of fashion industry in Jing’an district. Its research subjects center on the construction of six functional zones, namely, “the centre zone of fashion design, the core zone for International Fashion Week, the inspiration zone for International Cosmetics Festival, the pilot zone of high-end artwork auction & exhibition, the brand zone of modern drama, as well as the gathering zone for various fashion activities”. It is a regular organizer of conferences, salons and other activities among fashion enterprises, and is committed to building an open and wide platform of learning, showcasing, communication and interaction for fashion brands, fashion enterprises and relevant industries, so as to support and boost the economic development of Jing’an district and the country at large.
