Description

As part of its roster of events aimed at promoting awareness of the EU in China, the EU-China BMT Project will stage one EU Day per year. The first EU Day is to be held on 19 October 2008. Activities will have a strong French flavour, in keeping with France’s elevation to the Presidency effective from 1st July 2008 and lasting until year end 2008.

In keeping with the European Union’s designation of 2008 as the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, EU Day will be heavily influenced by cultural events and activities related to EU member states.

The EU-China Business Management Training Project is a joint initiative supported by the Chinese Government and the European Union. Among other initiatives, the project aims at raising awareness of the European Union in China and knowledge about the European Union as a political and economic entity.
