At present, CEIBS alumni can make donations as:

Individual gift: Founding Member of the Foundation, Member of CEIBS, the Alumni Annual Fund, Naming Right for Auditorium Seat
Group gift: Campus Naming Rights Fund, Scholarship Fund and others

The Alumni Annual Fund is one of the most important components of the CEIBS Foundation. Once a year it will send donation requests to all alumni and students. Contributing to the Alumni Annual Fund is one of the best ways for alumni and students to involve themselves in the development of the school. The minimum amount of each donation is RMB 500.

3. How does the CEIBS Foundation use the funds?

With the approval of the Board, donations received will be used in the following aspects:

Recruit high calibre professors with excellent teaching and research capability from all over the world;
Provide scholarships in the MBA programme to attract top students within and outside of China;
Strengthen CEIBS' teaching and research capabilities and hence boost its reputation in the world;
Support the construction of the campuses in Shanghai and Beijing and provide first-class teaching environment;
Support other CEIBS development projects.

4. What are the steps for making a donation?

Fill in theAlumni Donation Form(click to download);
Mail or fax the completed form, or fill in and submit the form online;
Make a donation through different channels and confirm details with the Alumni Relations Office.

Any alumni who wished to make a gift are welcome to call in to consult the officers of the Alumni Relations Office.

5. Can I make a gift online?

Not for now. The website for online donation is under construction. Currently the following ways of giving are available: bank transfer, postal remittance, on-campus donation and proxy donation.

6. How to make a donation in kind?

Please contact the Alumni Relations Office directly for assistance in fulfilling your wish while meeting the school's needs.

7. How can we get a donation receipt?

Upon receiving your payment advice and completed donation form, the Alumni Relations Office will post the donation receipt to you by mail afterwards.

8. What are the ways of acknowledgement?

Alumni donation includes individual gift and group gift. Whichever it is, the CEIBS Foundation always shows its acknowledgement in different ways based on the type and value of the gift. Basically, the acknowledgement includes:

Grant annual alumni donation certificate, honorary title and souvenir; Publicize the donors in the school website, the alumni magazine and the CEIBS Foundation's annual report;
Hang a commemorative plaque with the name and class of the donor on the commemorative wall;
Invite donors to attend, as a VIP guest, various events held by the school, the Foundation and the Alumni Association;
Other discussible ways.

9. Besides individual donation, are there any other ways of making a gift?

Donations can also be made in the form of group by a class, alumni club or regional chapter. Those who want to make a group gift please consult the Alumni Relations Office for further details.

10. How can we get the information about the operation of the CEIBS Foundation and the usage of the funds?

The CEIBS Foundation will regularly send the Foundation's annual report and financial statements to all donors, who are also encouraged to call in any time to make enquire.
