The forum aims to expose our alumni to intellectual stimulation by inviting business elite to discuss new knowledge and comment on hot issues.
The need for brainstorming is justified in a world where dramatic social and economic changes occur. With China's entry into WTO and its increasing integration into the world economy, enterprises are facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Business leaders are therefore more eager than ever to find solutions to new business problems and to explore opportunities for sustainable development. This consequently leads to the inevitable need for brainstorming and face-to-face exchange with an objective to facilitate communication and inspire ideas.
Since April 2003, the CEIBS' Alumni Association has launched the Management Forum focusing on hot issues, new Knowledge & the elite. The forum aims to expose our alumni to intellectual stimulation by inviting business elite to discuss new knowledge and comment on hot issues.
The forum is hoped to serve as a platform for dialogue and exchange among alumni in their search for further career advancement.
CEIBS has approximately 2,500 alumni from around the country, with an expected number of 600 joining the alumni community every year. With what they've learned in class and by applying it into their business practice, CEIBS' alumni are distinguishing themselves in their respective industries and making critical contribution to the development of the Chinese business world. Their success is not only important to the school but also renders it possible for the valuable exchange among alumni themselves.
Starting in June 2003, the CEIBS' Alumni Association is going to kick off the Alumni Forum on Voice, Friendship and Excellence. At this forum, alumni with remarkable achievements will be invited to share their experience in both professional and personal development. As such, the forum is hoped to serve as a platform for dialogue and exchange among alumni in their search for further career advancement. We are convinced that with a shared education at CEIBS, as well as shared aspiration in career, our alumni will find the forum both enlightening and inspiring.
At this forum, business elite will be invited to share with our alumni about life and values, art and politics, and to discuss the inextricable relationship of management with life as well as culture.
Management is not only a science, but also an art. As it is, business solutions rely on the quality of managers. The essential elements of these managers include cultivation, vision and life experiences. A commonality among business people is that, to run a business, is to be yourself.
Starting May 2003, the CEIBS' Alumni Association will kick off the Cultivation Forum. At this forum, business elite will be invited to share with our alumni about life and values, art and politics, and to discuss the inextricable relationship of management with life as well as culture.
