China, with successful entering of WTO, it's facing more fierce competition from global market. IT strategy and management has become one of the most important factors to enhance business competitiveness.

To help China IT management professionals for a closer communication with global field expertise of ITSM (IT Service Management), CEIBS alumni INFO club & HP IT Management School is now joint organizing this forum, which will bring you a updated view of corporate IT strategy, effective way of ITSM, and valuable local practice experience sharing.

David Cannon
Founder of itSMF (IT Service Management Forum)
Visiting Professor of HP IT Management School

David is internationally recognized as a leader in IT Service Management.  He has 15-years experience in IT Service Management and is a Fellow of the Institute of Service Management £¿C the highest level of professional achievement in this field. He has provided training and consulting services to virtually every industry sector and at every level of management.  He has also been a key figure in establishing the ITSM industry in South Africa and the USA, both by establishing successful businesses and through his involvement in the itSMF.  He was one of the founders of itSMF, and a founder and director of the itSMF International, where he still serves as a member of the Executive Board. David has also participated in the ongoing development of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and the Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF). His current role is Practice Principal within Hewlett-Packard, where he is responsible for establishing, building and supporting IT Service Management practices in Asia, the USA and Latin America. David will give a speech focused on corporate IT strategy & planning, and way of measures on efficient ITSM from a view of business.

As one of China IT management professionals, Xiao-Dong was graduated from Jilin University Computer Science Department, and has been working for Volks-Wagen Changchun since year of 1984. Through 20 years of working experience, Xiao-Dong has accumulated rich management & practical experience in IT infrastructure planning and operation management. This time, Xiao-Dong will share his understanding on importance of IT strategy and planning, also compliant with his rich experience on ITSM practice in China.
