Dear alumni of CEIBS，

A major earthquake measuring 7.8 Richter scale jolted Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province in southwest China on May 12th, 2008, causing extensive damages, injuries and deaths. It’s another tremendous challenge confronting Chinese People after the Snow Disaster burst out early this year.

Immediately after the earthquake, a large number of organizations and individuals, including CEIBS, started to lend a helping hand to the victims. We contacted our alumni and students in Southwest area to ensure their safety in the first place. Then, we cannot help asking ourselves what we can do for the quake-hit areas.

We appeal to all our alumni and your companies/institutes to join the donation team to contribute our help.

In addition to donation, which is in great need right now, we can absolutely do more for the quake victims ……     

Although natural disasters are unavoidable, there’s a strong belief in us that all of the difficulties can be overcome as long as we show our love and give our help to each other. 

CEIBS Alumni Association is launching the helping activity and we do welcome CEIBS Alumni to join us! We will send all the donation money to China Red Cross Foundation to support the rescue of quake-hit areas. (The end time of helping activity will be informed to everyone according to the situation)
